2007 Southern Education Leadership Inititiative - Foundation and Non-Profit Sector Internships

A select number of students from around the country will be invited to participate in a seven-week paid internship with leading philantropic and social justice organizations. The program is designed to develop tomorrow's leadership in the arena of public service. Past participants have worked with organizations such as CARE USA, Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation, Assisi Foundation, Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation, Center for Women Policy Studies, and many others. Brown and Caldwell Minority Scholarship |
The Brown and Caldwell Minority Scholarship is open to full-time minority students who are in their junior year of study. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a declared major in one of the following areas: civil, chemical or environmental engineering, environmental sciences, geology, hydrogeology, biology, ecology, public health, or industrial hygiene toxicology.
